Homestead - My maiden name is McKay (MacKay) and my family used to live at 92 Torroble and I see that it is a holiday cottage now. My father and I were in Lairg in 1997 to find the homestead and the pictures on this site bring back to many memories.

Michael family - My great great grandfather William Michal came to Australia in 1852. He was a shepherd at \'Salahie\' near Lairg. Any info on the Michael family would be greatly appreciated.

Moving to Lairg - Our son John and his wife Sabrina are moving to Lairg today with their 4 children Shannon Declan Owen and Islay. It looks a beautiful place to live, we are looking forward to visiting sometime in the near future.
